On August 10, 2020, MA Sai, Party Committee Secretary of Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University (AADTHU), LI Huaisheng, Chief Designer of Beijing Tsingshang Architectural Decoration Engineering Co., Ltd., and their company visited Tsinghua (Qingdao) Academy of Arts and Science Innovation Research (TASA). ZHAO Chao, Deputy Dean of AADTHU and Deputy Director of TASA accompanied the visitors in the tour around the park of TASA and introduced the overall structure, status quo of development, institutional cooperation, and the preparation for the opening ceremony and Design Festival of TASA. 

Mr. ZHAO Chao thanked the continuous support and care of the leaders of AADTHU and welcomed teachers of Tsinghua University and the social circles to cooperate with TASA in carrying out scientific research and achievement transformation. 

Secretary MA Sai confirmed existing achievements of TASA and provided guiding opinions on building of the workshops, institutional development and project cooperation. He said that TASA is the only dispatched institution set up by AADTHU. AADTHU would continue to give full play to the advantages of discipline leadership and talent gathering, actively mobilize teachers and students to participate in the development and construction of TASA, give strong support to TASA in terms of new knowledge discovery and new technology application, compound innovation and entrepreneurship leadership talent training, and art and cultural communication and exchanges, help it continuously optimize the development model, support the development of basic scientific research, assist in the establishment of basic laboratories in multiple disciplines, truly promote the integration of industry, university and research, and promote the joint development of academy and enterprise. That is to become a strong backing for the development of TASA. 

Chief Designer LI Huaisheng highly appraised the rapid development and outlook of TASA. Combining the historical evolution of Tsingshang, he offered many constructive opinions on how TASA should develop rapidly, steadily and sustainably. He hoped that Tsingshang and TASA would carry out in-depth cooperation in the field of human settlements, join forces to complement each other's advantages, and make every effort to explore a new mode of integrating human settlements with social industries.
